Toda　39mm　The very first work

This piece is inspired by Arakawa in Saitama Prefecture, Japan.
Before working with watches, I did nothing but stroll along Arakawa, gazing at the water's surface. To express that surface on the dial, I crafted the finish from pigments and applied Japanese-made plating.
Saitama has no sea, only rivers, so I engraved the sea into it to quench my longing for the ocean.

Leaving the finish on the dial and achieving that blue was incredibly difficult.

This is my true new work.
